Snakeme

SnakeMe is a very welcome and long overdue update of the classic “Snake” game, basically it’s the same in everyway, but this one has the options of sixteen different types of snakes, mazes galore, different backgrounds and even two editors for hours of do-it-yourself fun!

What you would expect in a usual “Snake” game is a black background and usually grey walls with a line (any colour, usually) sliding around running into dots on the screen. This one has so much more, the backgrounds are great and don’t clog the screen with useless information, the snakes are all varied, with smilies and fish as options for what you want to look like. And if these graphics don’t suit you – you can make your own with the “sprite editor”.

The game play is key in games like this and this one absolutely nails it. The mazes are brilliant and the added challenge of avoiding some “fruit” to only get the good stuff is great. The winner is the first one up to 10, or you can customize that. You can also custom build a whole new maze if you like and eight snakes can be on the screen at any time.

The music is very catchy and the sound effects are pretty good, these are not the shining beacon in this game though as you will find it's the game play which keeps you coming back for more and more and more.

This game is thoroughly addictive and unbelievably customizable and even includes three languages – English, French and German, so there is no reason for anyone not to download this really great game.
