First off, let me say this is not for children. Did I say that clearly enough? This is not for children. It is a dark tale about War, about Hell and other mucky stuff. It contains coarse language and is intended for a mature audience. In other words, its great.

Well, I think its great at least. Kind of like how Taxi Driver is a great film, but you only get it if you're in the right frame of mind. Without wanting to give too much away, the story begins with you being beaten, groggy and feeling ill. Within a few key presses (you mostly select between options 1 and 2) you've witnessed a man sink face-first into a mud puddle.

Seriously, that's how the story begins. You haven't even got anywhere yet. I'll avoid giving you my interpretation of it, and will leave you with the advice that it will only appeal to a small section of gamers and even then, those will have to be in the right frame of mind. Its never an easy story to follow and the writing keeps the oppressive mood solid throughout.
