In Umbrella, you play the strange and happy umbrella. You have a natural ability to fall, which is countered by your ability to temporarily float (with "up"). The idea is to navigate the treacherous levels and survive intact. Sounds easy, and it isn't.

The game is cheerfully optimistic through and through. From the charming intro ditty to the colourful graphics, everything - except the level design - is there to make you calm, peaceful and tranquil.

Each level features a different enemy at first - trees, kites, arrows, poles - and soon they work together, often in alarming numbers, in order to thwart your attempts at landing safely. Basically, imagine if Jumper! involved a lot less jumping and a lot more (deliberate) falling.

It's short, but sweet. The only thing it lacks is a death counter, and possibly a more expansive sequel. As it stands, it is a delightful mini-game which is the perfect length for the frustration you face.

A very fun little diversion. I completed it in about 6 minutes. After you play this, you'll wish there were more levels.
