An adventure game, yes. The music in the intro is nice, the graphics aren't horrid, but nothing spectacular, pretty much what one would expect for the most part.

No catastrophic bugs found in the first while, but there are no good clues, the puzzles are lame, the typical interface isn't very well done, sprite collisions are under-done making it easy to get behind blocked entrances (I accidentally went past the first puzzle without solving it) or marched up inside of a wall.

The exits aren't clearly marked even when they're clear. Open walls (no blockage) on any side might mean you can go that way, but don't necessarily. Items to pick up are obvious, but unimaginatively placed. The sound effects are annoying as nails on a chalk-board. The spelling is sometimes comically inept from the get go (the vampire slayer must be resin?!).

Wow, boy, is this game bad. Not unplayable, since everything seems to work as it's supposed to. Just bad, lazy game design.

The Haunted House is an excellent adventure game, which puts you in a haunted house with a grisly task.

You are a resurrected vampire slayer and it is your task to search through the Haunted House and kill the blood-sucking vampire.

As you move through the house you will have to solve puzzles and pick up items in order to survive against the onslaught of monsters.

The Haunted House is a fun icon based adventure title and gave me hours of enjoyment.
