Once again another brilliantly designed game by Free Lunch Design
While not life-changing, Operation Spacehog is a solid, well-made space shooter game from the awesome Free Lunch Design.
In some futuristic year, weird red octopus-looking aliens have assaulted Earth, so it's up to a rag-tag group of pilots to stop them. While the plot is forgettable, the game play is sheer adrenaline-rushing awesomeness, with tons of different weapons.
Unfortunately, that's Operation Spacehog's one downfall. Its diverse arsenal of weapons means that you'll pay more attention to the upgrade/power-up readout than to the actual game screen, needlessly complicating the game.
Still, it's an amazing freeware space shooter, compact in file-size, that's definitely worth downloading.
This is one heck of a space shooter. There are three different ships to choose from (there is a very big difference, trust me) with three distinct characters.
The gameplay is absolutely great, with lots of shooting, cool powerups, and awesome special attacks.
Designed by Free Lunch Design (that's a good argument for it in itself), you should download this game right now.
Fan-flaming-tastic! I can't seem to stop playing this game, even though I have only gotten past the third level three times. The graphics are simple, but everything is very well designed. The power-ups can be a little difficult to get, but their variety and strength make them all worth the work. Many compliments and thanks to Free Lunch Design for such a great free game.
Once again another brilliantly designed game by Free Lunch Design. It’s a cool shoot em up space game with power ups and all.
Aliens are attacking and its your duty to save the planet (yup you have heard that one before). Good graphics, catchy music, flawless gameplay and the list goes on.
No need to say more, download it.
This is a magical game which will convert even those who have only ever played Halo and other big commercial games to the beautiful classic arcade universe.
I was actually looking for more of a "Duck Hunt 3D" kind of game, but I fell in love with it as soon as I fired those funky little bullets. Great stuff, Free Lunch!
I hope developers can add more levels... and more characters to choose from. As far as controls, its solid, nice variations, I can use keyboard, mouse or a gamepad, sound is cool, graphics are cool.
It's very, very, very, very, very, very excellent and gives you something to do after school, too.
