Overview

Magical Broom Extreme delivers a delightfully chaotic shooting experience that captures the absurd charm of freeware arcade games. Early impressions reveal a title that prioritizes fast-paced fun over technical polish, with its whimsical premise of witch-versus-granny-head combat creating memorable moments. While not without rough edges, the core gameplay loop proves consistently engaging, offering the kind of uncomplicated enjoyment that keeps players returning for "just one more run."

Chaotic Arcade-Style Action

The heart of Magical Broom Extreme lies in its frenetic shooting mechanics that embrace pure, unadulterated chaos. Players take flight as a witch soaring across vibrant landscapes, facing off against absurd floating granny heads sporting outrageously colored wigs. The gameplay escalates rapidly as these geriatric adversaries unleash barrages of surprisingly lethal jelly beans, creating screen-filling patterns that demand quick reflexes. Powerups materialize amidst the candy-fueled pandemonium, while oversized bosses zoom into view to escalate the madness further. This escalating intensity creates what one player aptly describes as "quite chaotic what with all the floating heads, jelly beans, powerups and insane bosses zooming around your screen." The inclusion of three difficulty levels ensures accessibility while providing challenge for seasoned shooter fans, with a persistent ranking system tracking combo chains and gold accumulation to reward skillful play.

Magical Broom Extreme combines good sound, graphics and game play to create a fantastic freeware shooter.

Magical Broom Extreme is very similar to Parity Shot. So if you enjoyed that game, you should love this one! You play as a witch. You fly across the screen on your broomstick and shoot at floating granny heads. Yip, that’s correct, floating granny heads (complete with wigs in various garish colours!!). These floating granny heads shoot jelly beans at you, which are, as everyone knows very damaging to your health. (?) The game soon becomes quite chaotic what with all the floating heads, jelly beans, powerups and insane bosses zooming around your screen. Extra features of this game include a bar at the bottom of the screen that shows your rating, combo and Gold ranking. You can also choose between three difficulties which is great. Magical Broom Extreme combines good sound, graphics and game play to create a fantastic freeware shooter.
