In this strange little game from (you guessed it) Japan, a cat is hungry for rice balls. Unfortunately three mean birds threaten to stop the cat before he can eat them all. Never mind that cats typically prefer birds over rice, and enjoy the simplicity of the game.

It plays as more of a puzzler than an arcade game, with the grid like field composed of several different sized rectangles. These rectangles are what you travel on, attempting to collect the rice balls. Every three rectangles you traverse, the cats advance. If your third move is on a rectangle which touches a bird's rectangle, the game is over.

Each round typically lasts several seconds and the minimalistic sounds help keep the game light hearted in a one-more-try sense. Its cute, its quick, its a small download and for the entertainment it provides, its well worth it.
