Eternal Daughter has long been hailed as the best game ever made on Multimedia Fusion. It is because of this I am ashamed that it has taken me so long to get around to downloading and playing it. Eternal Daughter is a freeware gem and must go into the books as one of the greatest freeware games of all time.

The graphics are the first thing that will blow you away. Every character has been individually crafted in a unique anime style. The detail in each character is amazing: They express emotion through facial expressions and body language. This along with the gripping story line will keep you immersed in the world of Eternal Daughter during every second of gameplay.

I was also surprised to find out that all the music in Eternal Daughter is 100% original! You’re just going to have to trust that the music is great and really add to the emotion of the game.

Eternal Daughter surpasses most Nintendo RPGs of the 90s in every imaginable way. The most surprising part is that Eternal Daughter took its creators (Derek Yu & Jon Perry) only two years to make.

You would have to be mad not to download this game! It is by far the best freeware title I have played in a very long time (if not ever).

Eternal daughter is one of those games that would have made it to console back in the early to mid 90s. The problem now, is that its freeware. Blackeye Software has created a game here that would easily have been a best seller.

The smooth gameplay with the insanely small amounts of glitches makes this game Super Nintendo worthy. All the monsters you faced in the game were perfectly challenging, each with their own qwerks and personalities, and each boss had the perfect amount of health and the perfect amount of damage it dealt out with each attack.

Some of the levels were very challenging, which any RPG fan would like. One thing that I liked in particular was the fact that the game had seemingly endless storyline possibilities. They could easily have gone on forever with that plot and always kept the player entertained. The large number of neutral characters (the ones on your side), each with their own personalities as well, made the game just the best RPG I've ever encountered. Good job Blackeye Software!

If I didn't know that Eternal Daughter was a freeware game, I would have considered this awesome piece of work to be some kind of abandonware or videogame conversion. It's that - GREAT! The first time you start the game, you encounter a great intro sequence, followed by challenging and developing gameplay, which you usually only see in the recent Castlevania chapters and a tenderly worked out setting like in an old Enix/Square RPG! The music, the characters, the story, everything is original and just impressive.

Yet there's no light without a shadow: the game turns out to be extremely difficult, not only because of the enemies getting harder but because of the rather open gameplay which sometimes leaves you a bit helpless, when you don't know where to go next.

Despite these little flaws, this game is a compulsory for every retro gamer who looks for a real challenge AND an awesomely well made free game. Just download it and immerse yourself into the world of ETERNAL DAUGHTER!

This game is so massive! It is one of the best games I have ever downloaded. This RPG game also has some intro and three save files!

It also has good sound and some good graphics. Since this game was in the NINTENDO, why doesn't it go back to the NINTENDO again? And these two people, that made the game, only two years? ONLY? How? I think this game is so good, excellent and massive, that this game called Eternal Daughter should be known around the world! Plus when the characters speak, their mouth moves!

This is ssoooooooooo wicked! I'd love to make a similar game...thanks to those two who made the game...we, all of us...who downloaded this game should thank the two people for such a great game! And took their time to do this for us! Applause! By the way...why don't you put the game onto the gamepack or a CD-ROM and sell it? Or the people that downloaded this game and think this game is excellent, why don't we donate?

Terrible. This game sucks. The main thing you do is jump on ledges and fall-attack a solid boss. That's all you ever do! This game is definatly not worth the download. You can't do anything good in this game, the gamplay is bad, the graphicks are OK, the music is bad. Overall I'd give this game 2 out of 10. 1 is for the graphics and the other is for sympathy of the guy who made it so he doesn't feel like a total failure even though this game is.

Dont get me wrong, if you want try it, try it, but I don't recommend that.

The colission detection was bad, like when the toad boss attacked me, his shot was about 3 feet away from my character and it still hit her. And the lack of an experience or weapon system stunk, not including the ranged weapons. If it's a Role Playing game, then it should at least have an experience system for the character, instead of just the creature that tags along with you. A load of crap, and I got bored after one hour.

For all you people out there that think this game was terrible, you need to look again, this is an awesome old style RPG game, not worrying about the graphics. All you need to focus on is the gameplay. The people that made this game made it to be a different RPG on purpose. I'd rate this game 9 out of 10, only leaving 1 out because of bugs! Other than that good job Blackeye Software keep it coming!

Great design for a game within the limitations, however it has a severe slow bug that lags up the game, rendering it often to the point of unplayable.

2 other flaws within its design:

Lack of anywhere-saving capability, causes irritable repeat play.

Lacking in the design of the character's weapon.

The entire game was extremely annoying and needs great deal of patience to play.

What can I say, it seems like everything in this game has been polished really well. The music is really interesting, the story too, and the game itself.

You can watch the cartooned progammers talk within the game and read about the enemy profile in a sort of museum included, that is if you explore enough. Exploring this game is the best part of playing it.

This is hands-down the best game I've downloaded off of this site yet. It really is on par with Super Nintendo games. The enemies are cool and they keep coming.

One complaint I have is that it's a little to hard, but it's so good (and so free) that I keep playing to see how far I can get.
