Super Monster Painter Extreme is the latest release from top freeware game developers Free Lunch Design.
Your goal in Super Monster Painter Extreme is to destroy all the monsters by spraying them with paint the same color as they are. Sounds easy enough, but it's not. It's probably better to play with 2 players. One person controls the vertical character and the other controls the horizontal one. To spray the monsters you just jump onto the giant tubes of paint. You are also able to rotate the positions of the paint tubes.
The monsters roam on a 3x3 grid. You need to wait until the monster is in line with it's color paint then blast it. The fact that 2 players are spraying paint at the same time can make things confusing at times.
Like all Free Lunch Design's other games, the graphics, sounds and gameplay are always of a very high standard. However, I found that Super Monster Painter Extreme did not keep me entertained at all.
I would like to say that I liked the game, obviously it's very professional and all. But truth is I didn't enjoy it. It certainly didn't match Icy Tower, Happyland Adventures or Operation Spacehog. But it's not bad. You should try it, you might like it better than I did.
It's a good game, Not nearly as good as Icy Tower or HappyLand Adventures, but it is a very good game.
I personally think that Icy Tower is the best game Free Lunch has made but this game is good. :)
