Drivers Dilemma is an interesting puzzle type game where the object is to set up a bunch of traffic signs then drive a car around while picking up crystals.

The 2D simplified nature of this game makes it a perfect puzzler, nothing too complicated except the puzzles themselves, which do get very, very difficult. The layout and the operation of the signs are simple and to-the-point so no confusion can arise as to what they do.

The game itself is an incredibly difficult game; just driving the car around by itself is fun but to collect the crystals is a real dilemma, hence the name. The good thing is you don’t have to manoeuvre to an exit like similar games but that is at the same time a bit of a toughie if you’re used to planning an exit route, where in this game you don’t need one. But nonetheless it’s an easy enough task to adjust to.

There’s no music and only minimal sounds, and that’s a good thing, as any extra distractions would only be, well, distracting. The game works fins as-is with no music to slow down or confuse the thought processes of how to solve the level.

This game is a welcome addition to the puzzle game genre where difficult puzzles are the main point of the game rather than any extra whiz-bang add-ons which add nothing to the overall value of the game. This is simple and effective and will keep any of the most avid puzzle fans busy for hours.
