It's impressive how many people are asking for help how to play the game and nobody knows. I having the same problems too. It says "can't change video mode, Error Detected", and I can't do nothing but close the game. But, the worst, is that the game doesn't have any official site, so I can't contact the creator of the game. Many said that to run the game, you have to configure the compatibility, so you change it to run in Windows 95/98 compatibility. I tried that, but still gives the same error.

I can't believe that nobody can answer this problem. This should be a great game, too bad I can't play it, and maybe I never will.

Although it is 2D, it is the best DBZ game ever. Not only do you get most of the favourite DBZ characters in this game, you get to make the game from very easy to very difficult. There is a great deal of customization (power level, music) that you can do with this game engine. It runs without complex graphics or great demand on even older computers.

The only drawback is the difficulty to make more characters, I would like to see more GT characters, even though it might defeat the name of the game. Adding characters such as Baby, Super 17 or various Shenrons would not hurt.

DragonBall Z Millennium is a great 2D fighter based on the popular anime series, Dragonball Z.

The game runs on the MUGEN game engine and delivers some of the best Dragonball Z gaming that a fan could ever dream of. The list of characters that you can play with is endless and you will be able to fight against most of the bad guys from the series. Each character has their signature moves and for a change the combo moves are not impossible to execute.

Dragonball Z Millennium is easily the best Dragonball Z freeware fighter that I have ever seen!

This a very good 2D Dragonball Z game. There are lots of characters and lots of specialized moves. After playing for a while I was able to make some pretty awesome moves.

A negative to the game is that not all the characters all well made, but some look very good when powering up example: Picolo and Brolly

A help section for the moves would have been nice too.

It's also cool when some characters are able to throw an energy beam that takes 90% off the screen.

Overall it's really an excellent game and a must have for Dragonball Z fans.

This game looks like the Nintendo's game, Hyper Dimension. Though this one has alot more to offer.

You can do all kinds of things that are seen in the series. Not just kick and punch but the combo's and special moves are indentical to the ones in the series.

I can definitely recommend this game, not just for the hardcore DBZ fans but for the normal fighting lover (like me) will enjoy this game for hours.

I've been sweet with this game for a while! If you don't believe it then try it yourself!

"Hey guys, I need your help badly, I envy players that can play this game because its almost perfect for everybody who plays and it has high ratings. I can't play this game, cause it always mentions Library built in message Cant Change Video Mode. Error Detected. This when I'm about to run the DBZ-2K icon. Please help me out of this sort of problem."

I have the same problem. Is there a way past this problem?

If you are getting "Can't change video mode" error, then take the following steps:

    1. Download the Dragonball Z Mugen game (3.5 Mb) and install it on your comp...

    2. Go into the directory from which you run this game...

    3. Click on the 'data' folder and copy mugen.cfg...

    4. Replace this file with the mugen.cfg in DbZ Millenium game...

    5. Your game can run now...
